The Woodlands Employee Highlight: Chelsea Ebner

I have worked at VillaSport since 2012 in the Group Fitness Department as an Instructor. I absolutely love my job, and find it a privilege and a joy to come alongside people to assist them on their health and fitness journeys. As instructors we get to make fitness fun, and that is really what it’s all about.

What’s your favorite Instagram account to follow?
Jen Widerstrom/ @ jenwiderstrom, she gives great workouts and meal ideas, and she’s just super sweet and real.

If you could eat any food with no consequences what would it be?
Ice Cream...all day every day.

When you aren’t at work, where are you? Home, any park in The Woodlands, or H.E.B...we are literally there everyday I think.

What do you love about VillaSport?
I love so many things about VillaSport. We don’t have any family nearby so this is our home away from home. My kids love the staff and all of the their friends in VillaKids. I love the little community that we have here, it is really special.

What’s your favorite app and why?
Facebook, because I can keep up with friends and family near and far.

Tell us something surprising about yourself.
I love to sing, and I am that annoying person that knows almost every song on every station.

What’s you favorite board game? I am super competitive, so I like all games! Watch out though because
I don’t like to lose.

If you’re mindlessly watching TV/Netflix’s what’s your go to show?
This is Us...I can’t wait for it to come back on. Friends is also always a favorite, it will never not be funny to me. We just started watching Game of Thrones, and I haven’t decided if I like it or not quite yet.

What’s your dream vacation?
I love to travel! We just got back from a trip to Scotland to visit family and then went to Austria. My favorite thing we did in Austria was hike in the mountains and canyoning. It was so beautiful and the people were lovely. I really want to go to New Zealand and Italy someday, both are on the bucket list.
