Philosophy
My goal in Vinyasa is to exhaust the physical body so that the mind can become more still. Yoga isn't something to be mastered. It's a lifelong practice and requires patience and self-work/self-love. In Yin Yoga, we focus on the internal with long holds and stretches. I believe this style to be the harder of the two because we're asked to be still and focus on our breathing. Students who dedicate themselves to this practice rave about its benefits, both the physical and emotional.
